I've decided to give this place another try after the new manager Abel reached out to me. I brought my party of 8 friends to the restaurant to watch the UFC 239 fights last night. I arrived just before 4pm and met with Abel, the warm, friendly and handsome manager who treated me like a VIP. Our waiter Brandon was very friendly, efficient and pretty cute to boot. My friends and I had a really fun time and I'm pretty sure we'll be back.
I just want to say thank you to Abel for renewing my interest in the restaurant. I'm leaving the 5th star unmarked for the service I will get at the bar the next time I'm there to see if that same female bartender will treat me better. -

Food here is amazing and the servers/bussers are so kind and attentive! The drinks are also great! The prices are kind of high, especially given the fact that the restaurant doesn't have an ocean view.
However, what absolutely kills me the most about this restaurant is how disgusting and degrading one of the bartenders, Melissa (short with brown hair), is towards the other servers and employees.
I have visited this restaurant on roughly five or six occasions. And I am not exaggerating when I say EACH and EVERY TIME I come here (given Melissa is working), I have witnessed her belittling and literally yelling at her coworkers. Screaming at them to grab their drinks faster or to pick up the drink receipts on the counter faster or to stop taking tables because "you have side work to do and you're wasting time just standing around" (when that server is literally carrying appetizers to their table), etc etc etc. She is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of being in the same room as. I am finally writing this review after so many visits because I never knew what her name was, but I recently learned it was Melissa from one of the other female servers who was very sweet.
Melissa is the reason I will NEVER go back to this restaurant. Which is unfortunate because the food and drinks are amazing and the live music is great--albeit super loud but I don't mind. However, all of the people I came with were SHOCKED when they witnessed her snippy attitude and the disgusting way she spoke to the other employees during our most recent (and LAST) visit. What's crazy is she yells at the servers and employees SO LOUD that other guests can hear her!! I looked around during one of her tirades the most recent time and saw guests at a table near us whispering about her behavior. They looked just as appalled as we all were!
How management can allow someone so degrading to continue to work at their restaurant blows my mind. I also just noticed that other guests have reviewed her poor behavior on Yelp (I know based on their physical description of her) and I can't wait for the day she no longer works there. It's so sad to see the way the employees carry themselves after being berated by Melissa. They look so beaten down and I can't imagine this is at all acceptable per their HR's policy on harassment. -

We loved this place! Seemed like mostly locals, which we're not, but super friendly and accommodating. Parking sucks, but there is cheap public parking behind them. Sundays are the busiest, because they have all the games on! The patrons are chill, cool seating options, if you can get it. Food and service was awesome! We will definitely be back when in the area!

I went to the rocks bar and Grill to watch the UFC fights Saturday night. The place was easy to get into and we were seated right away. We had a good waitress who made sure our drinks were always full and anything we ordered got to us quickly. There are lots of TVs for watching the fight so you never miss a moment. The seating is pretty nice but there are some seats that aren't as comfortable as others. All in all I would say this place is fairly decent for going and enjoying an evening watching UFC. They do not require a cover charge which is a plus and you can spend more money on food. I would recommend the rocks bar and grill for anyone looking for a great little place to stop and have some decent food.

The drinks were weak and way over priced. $9 for an extra shot in my margarita, because I couldnt taste any alchohol! Plus the bar tenders was rude! I will never recommend or return!
